Many things have been happening since the last journal entry. I am an uncle to two nieces and one nephew, plus a third cousin, all whom were born in the last ten months. Recently Began volunteering at a bike repair workshop in a charity store not far from where I live. (About a 10 min tram ride.) Went to Adelaide and Sydney for family gatherings a few months back. (In Adelaide, I was in the car with relatives and we ended up getting lost whilst on our way to my niece's Christening. The funny thing is, my Aunt has lived in Adelaide her whole life! getting lost on the roads in Sydney, Perth or Melbourne is one thing, but Adelaide ... that's something else.)
Been doing a lot of drawings and have been meaning to upload them on DA for a while now; I keep forgetting as I am easily distracted. Recently got back into model making and painting again after a very long break. (Long story short, a few years ago I once helped my brother run his gaming store. Many customers commissioned us to model/paint their armies. Unfortunately the workload burnt me out and I went AWOL modelling-wise for a couple of years. Other than the Iron Warrior Cultists and Terminator Lord which were modelled and painted in December last year, all other models were converted and painted nearly four years ago.)
Currently working on a Khorne Berzerker army, with the aim to actually have a fully painted army for once. I'll try to upload photos. Would like to finish the Iron Warrior Defilers but I currently have no place to store them safely without paint coming off.
Very soon I will begin working on my first ever costumes for a friend and myself for Comicon Melbourne next year. My friend will be cosplaying as Commissar Ciaphus Cain and I'll be going as Ferrick Jurgen, from the Ciaphus Caine novels by Sandy Mitchell.
Other than that, not much else.
P.s. Although I socialize every now and then, I'm not much of a social person online - hence why I rarely leave comments whenever I watch an artist and add art to my favs. I hope I haven't offended anyone due to my lack of social activity.
