Just as the title says, I haved created an artist page on Facebook called Studio Akiyama. The aim will be to use this page for uploading all my future artistic projects, mostly WIP but also completed works, whilst leaving completed works for DA. I might provide updates with links. P.s. Yeah, my homeland is literally on fire. We get bush fires every year, but ... nothing on this scale. So far the total land that has been burned is roughly the size of Belgium, and the for the first time in Australian history the Royal Australian Navy has been deployed to aid in evacuations. The other day the smoke was so bad you could barely see Melbourne CBD from where I live. And some friends of mine who work in the city said they could barely even see the buildings on the opposite of the road. So now I can add extreme fire hazards to the list of dangers on the Death World known as Australia.

After many years of sitting in boxes gathering dust, I decided to pull out my Imperial Guard and give them a much needed update in both army list and painting. The original army used a lot of infantry squads, which was all good and well from 3rd to 7th Ed and required only minor changes to keep it up-to-date with each new edition. Then 8th Ed came out and royally changed how ALL my 40K armies worked. With so many players fielding either lots of heavy infantry, vehicles or both, my lasgun-heavy army was ill-equipped to deal with these new upgraded threats due to dramatically different rules. After eight long hours in a van with my boss and colleague, I'm back in Melbourne after spending the last five days in Canberra for Cancon 2018. Good news is business went extremely well for Knights of Dice. Bad news is the screen on my mobile phone cracked on day 2 ... soon after I arrived at the convention in the morning!
